Allison DiMauro has been teaching guitar, piano, and ukulele at Grace Music School since 2018. Allison received her Bachelors in Music Education from SUNY Fredonia and she is a NYS certified music teacher.

Kyle Hansen is a guitar player and vocalist hailing from the small town of Huntington, NY. Born with a growing passion for music, he began playing the guitar at 13 years old and quickly realized that it was his true calling.
We are very excited to have Peter teaching with us at Grace Music School in Woodbury. Peter brings a wealth of musical experience including sharing the stage with a variety of well-known artists such as Lenny Kravitz, Jacob Dylan, Ryan Adams, and Joan Osborne.

Vincent Basileo is a music educator specializing in cello performance, as well as lessons in beginner-intermediate violin, viola, piano, guitar and music theory. A student of such acclaimed cellists as Maureen Hynes, Julian Langford, Arnold Choi and Lauren Posey.

Frenie Acoba is an actress, singer, and dancer, where she has been involved in theater and entertainment for over a decade. Frenie has performed professionally in the National Tour of “South Pacific” and in the Original Broadway Cast of “Matilda the Musical”.

Krissy Dejuri is a composer, music producer, and multi-instrumentalist who specializes in bringing out a musician’s creative spirit. She has experience in pop, jazz, theater, classical, music theory, and composition.

What Age Should My Child Start Guitar Lessons?
The minimum age recommended for starting guitar lessons is 5 years old. Due to the thickness of the strings and fine motor skills needed to play the instrument, we do not recommend starting guitar any younger. For younger students, we recommend learning either the ukulele.
The minimum age we recommend a student start ukulele lessons is 4 years old. For younger students, we recommend an intro to the music program. Starting age will largely depend on the student, some may need to wait longer than others depending on factors such as fine motor skills, attention span, and overall interest in music.
Do I Need a Guitar or Ukulele to Start the Lessons?
Yes, you will need a guitar/ukulele to start the lessons. Without a guitar/ukulele, you won’t be able to practice between lessons and make weekly progress. If cost is a concern, good beginner guitars are inexpensive and most music stores have a 30-day return policy if it’s not for you.

What Will I Learn from Guitar Lessons with Grace Music School Teachers?
