TUITION SCHEDULE – CALENDAR YEAR 2024 – 2025

Monthly Tuition:

$185 – 30 minutes weekly
$278 – 45 minutes weekly
$370 – 60 minutes weekly
10% discount for any additional lesson (additional household member or additional instrument)

Notes:

There is a one-time $40 registration fee per household.
Refer a friend or family member (not in same household) and receive one free lesson off of your current subscription.

Monthly Tuition Includes the Following:

Semi-annual in-house recitals
- Accompaniment required for most non-piano performances (additional fees may apply)
NYSSMA preparation
Optional in-house performance adjudication
Audition preparation
Use of space for practice (subject to availability)
Annual Summer Concert Series (additional fees may apply)

Monthly Tuition Payment Policy

Monthly tuition payments are recurring and are charged to your debit/credit card on the first of each month until a Withdrawal Form is submitted to Grace Music School’s office. Withdrawal forms must be submitted by the 15th of your final month to discontinue lessons and stop charges to your account for the following month. Authorization for automatic payment is given when the card is provided.

Monthly tuition is a flat rate based on 48 lessons per year, and we are open 48 weeks per year in accordance with our published holiday calendar. Students average 4 lessons per month and the tuition is the same each month; i.e., you are not charged more when you have five lessons in a month, and not charged less when you have three lessons in a month.

Attendance Policy

We have a strict 24-hour cancellation policy. If you need to cancel a lesson for any reason, please contact your school’s office by texting the number for your location: (631) 470-9705 for Woodbury or (631) 239-6169 for Fort Salonga. You may also email us at woodbury@gracemusicschool.com or fort@gracemusicschool.com to cancel the lesson, or speak with the front desk staff, a full 24 hours before the lesson, in which case we will do our best to reschedule that lesson, subject to the availability of your teacher. Students are limited to two rescheduled lessons per quarter, which do not rollover.

Lessons canceled with less than 24 hours notice are not eligible for reschedules, credits, or refunds of any kind. Class tuition will not be refunded in the event of a student cancellation regardless of how far in advance notice of the cancellation is given. Students are not guaranteed a reschedule and scheduling requests should not be made to teachers.

In lieu of canceling a lesson, you may request an online lesson if you are ill or unable to commute to our school for any reason.

In the event of a teacher absence, a qualified substitute will be provided for that day, or the student will be given a guaranteed reschedule subject to teacher availability. Teachers provide student notes for the covering teacher to ensure the continuity of lessons.

Any and all pending reschedules must be completed before the last month of enrollment and may not be carried forward into a future month for which you are not enrolled.

Withdrawal

To discontinue lessons and to stop charges to your account, fill out our Withdrawal Form no later than the 15th of your final month.

If you withdraw after the 15th of the month, you will be charged for the following month’s lessons.

We do not prorate tuition for the last month’s lessons and no refunds will be given. Students will be responsible for their last month’s tuition whether or not they attend lessons; if they cannot attend, a student may allow for their family member or friend to take their lessons.
