Grace Music School brings together a community of dedicated and experienced teachers to provide personalized (and fun!) lessons in piano, guitar, voice, violin, viola, cello, flute, drums, saxophone and clarinet. Our students also have the opportunity to collaborate with others, performing in ensembles at local schools and other venues.

We are kicking off our #GMSLoveMusic month with a special performance of L-O-V-E by Nat King Cole performed by GMS Woodbury Tuesday teachers and staff, The Grace Notes: featuring Music Director Matt Marcina on piano, Shiori Chazono on electric bass, Tom McClafferty on trumpet, Michael Alvarez on alto saxophone and vocals, Caitlin Francis on vocals, Kelly McGinnis on vocals, and Lesson Coordinator Nico Van Patten on vocals.

Convenient Locations

Our Fort Salonga location is conveniently located on 25A just west of Sunken Meadow Parkway in the IGA Shopping Center, and our Woodbury location, located at 120 Woodbury Rd., Woodbury, NY 11797.

No Commitment Required

We do not require semester minimums for lessons. Every student is on a month-to-month basis and you are not required to commit to a long-term contract. You will also be pleased with our flexible make-up policy.

Multiple Performance Opportunities Throughout the Year

As a music school committed to musical excellence, we place a strong emphasis on providing multiple performance opportunities throughout the year.
For these performances, students will be performing or accompanied on a Steinway grand piano. These performances are low pressure and optional for our students and there are no admission fees.

Flexible Lesson Times

Our flexible hours and multiple class times are designed to work around your busy schedule. We also offer morning hours for homeschool families and adults. Since we are a full-service music school, we are able to offer lessons as early as 9 a.m. and we see many students between the hours of 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. If you are a homeschool parent, retiree, college student or working professional who has a flexible schedule, take advantage of our early morning and lunchtime lesson spots.

State of the Art Modern Facility

At the Fort Salonga location, our families enjoy a professional waiting room with comfortable chairs and WiFi. Our school is comprised of 7 music studios with full view French doors, allowing you to watch your child’s lesson while you wait (or you can sit in anytime you like!). Our school also features top of the line Steinway pianos. We also have a 70″ LED and surround sound system to take full advantage of music teaching applications/software and to host our “Music Movie Nights.” our Woodbury location, located at 120 Woodbury Rd., Woodbury, NY 11797. includes 9 studios and complimentary coffee served fresh in our Steinway Café. In addition, our school boasts a beautiful concert space, equipped with a Steinway Concert Grand Piano.

Through our partnership with Steinway and Sons, Grace Music School is proud to offer our students the best pianos for modern and classical music education. For more than a century and a half, the world’s most accomplished pianists have preferred to express their musical genius on Steinway & Sons pianos. The list includes the giants in classical, jazz, and popular music; the men and women who have shaped the world’s musical heritage. Today, more than 98 percent of the world’s active concert pianists choose to perform on Steinway pianos.

Picture Day

Every November and June, we host a free picture day with a professional photographer. This is a service that our student’s parents love as they all want a quality photo of their children. Adults are welcome too! Students can bring their instruments to the photo shoot and wear whatever they like.
