Group Music Classes

Develop a beautiful sound on the saxophone, clarinet, oboe or flute. Study the musical style of your choosing with our highly qualified woodwind instructors.

Learn proper tone production, hand position, finger placement, and breath support on any brass instrument, including trumpet, trombone, tuba, and euphonium.

During this 3-week course for beginner string players, students will be introduced to the early stages of music ensemble playing. 

During this 3-week course for Intermediate to Advanced string players (N.Y.S.S.M.A. Levels 3-6), students will learn the basics of Chamber Music performance as well as the history of the genre.

A 4-week class designed for children ages 6 and up. Hosted at our Woodbury location, this fun and comprehensive introduction to guitar covers scales, chords, songs, riffs, notation, tabs, and more—everything your child needs to prepare for private, one-on-one lessons.

8-week exploration of the creative process behind songwriting. Areas of focus will include workshopping original music, determining artistic influences, and discovering unique ways to write music, both individually and in groups. 

A week-long drumming extravaganza! Students will explore the basics of different percussion instruments, including snare drum, glockenspiel (bells), and drum set.

Join us for a fun and focused strings class where students (ages 7+) will improve bow technique, rhythm skills, and ensemble playing. Led by Steve Madonia, this small-group class explores musical expression, harmony, and efficient playing habits.
