About Justin Adelman
Justin began his musical journey at age 4, inspired by his Dad’s enjoyment of performing in concert and his Grandfather’s love of music. Justin is a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter and record producer. He recorded and toured with the world-renowned band Lawrence for five years and signed with Warner Bros. Records for the release of their album Breakfast.
He performed on Major Motion Film, TV and commercial songs and scores including The Rewrite written and directed by Marc Lawrence (Family Ties, Miss Congeniality, Miss Congeniality 2: Armed and Fabulous, Music & Lyrics) and starring Hugh Grant, Marisa Tomei, J. K. Simmons, Chris Elliott, Bella Heathcote and Allison Janney.
Justin has toured with world famous acts including Blues Traveler. He’s performed in concert at many notable venues, festivals and college events around the U.S. including Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, House of Blues Cleveland, Brown University, Rocklahoma, Rock Fest and many others.
He signed with Atlantic Records with a project produced by Ray Chew, the music director for The Grammys, The Voice, American Idol and many artists. Justin also played with 3x Grammy Winner Marvin Moore who sang Maria Maria by Carlos Santana.
He joined the Syosset Central School District’s music program in second grade and took part in all the music programs offered. He graduated from Syosset as a member of the Tri-M honor society and received the Steven E. Schopp award for outstanding contributions to the music department. Throughout his musical journey, Justin has played in many groups with his Dad and friends. As a musician he excels at many styles of Rock, Classical and Jazz. Justin’s approach to music lessons focuses on fundamentals, technique, creativity and ultimately students playing their favorite songs.
