About Cov C.
Cov is a classically trained Violist and Violinist. They are currently studying for a BA in music education and to be a full time orchestra director. They are currently a member of the Starlight Symphony Orchestra and also plays with the ACC orchestra. Throughout their career, Cov has played with many different organizations and orchestras such as the Austin Chamber Music Center, TMEA Region 18 orchestra, Austin Youth Orchestra Symphony Orchestra, and the Texas State String Camp. They are currently studying with Dr. Melissa Melendez at Austin Community College Highland. Cov believes that building good foundations is the key to success in music. Not only will students be learning new material, they will also build a stronger sense of musicality and general knowledge of everything relating to their instrument. Cov also believes in the importance of a supportive teaching environment and welcomes students to explore what they are interested in playing.
