About Laura Taylor
I have had the pleasure of sharing the piano with students for over 30 years, the privilege to earn an Associate’s in Fine Arts, Piano Pedagogy, under the tutelage of Cathy Albergo (Dr. Albergo is co-creator of the Celebrate Piano! method books series, Intermediate Piano Repertoire, A Guide for Teaching, and many other titles.) and the honor of studying privately with Donald Walker (Mr. Walker was the Artist in Residence, NUI School of Music for over three decades).
I love sharing music with students of all ages. I particularly enjoy finding the right piece of music at the right time. I think it’s important to work on each skill separately, spending a few minutes on rhythm, interval singing, and when applicable music theory.
Outside of my music life, I am the mother of two teens, an aide in Special Education K/3, and a certified yoga instructor.
