About Laura Taylor
I have taught piano for over 25 years and have had the privilege to earn an Associate’s in Fine Arts, Piano Pedagogy, under the tutelage of Cathy Albergo, co-creator of the Celebrate Piano! series of method books, Intermediate Piano Repertoire, A Guide for Teaching, and many other titles.
I love sharing music with children and adults. I particularly enjoy finding the right piece of music at the right time. I think it’s important to work on each skill separately, spending a few minutes on rhythm, interval singing, and when applicable theory.
Outside of my music life, I am the mother of two teens, work as an aide in K/1 Special Education, and study yoga.
