Rock Band class meetings follow a semester-based 16-week format that involves two separate but consecutive 8-week “terms.” Meetings are weekly 90-minute rehearsals held at The Music Room and coached by instructor Will Gingrich.

The $325 tuition, paid at the start of each of the two 8-week terms ($650 total), includes all of the following experiences and expenses:

– 24 hours of rehearsal (16 weekly 90-minute sessions) with instructor Will Gingrich
– Final 2-hour session at the performance venue (setup, soundcheck, performance, breakdown)
-Sound engineer’s fee for the venue
– Dedicated photo shoot

We currently offer 16-week Fall and Spring sessions, and (at an adjusted rate) 10-week Summer sessions. Please note that prior musical experience on the instrument of choice is required.

– Experience increased motivation to practice in order to be prepared for each rehearsal
– Develop group communication skills
– Learn effective approaches to rehearsing
– Learn the basics of effective showmanship (i.e., onstage presentation and interaction with other band members)
– Gain valuable insights into equipment setup and use
– Learn what a “backline” is and how to carry out a soundcheck for the final performance professionally
– Perform in a professional venue
