About Thinh Nguyen
Thinh has been playing guitar since the age of 11. Born and raised in Vietnam, he went to a conservatory program until his family relocated. Currently a student at West Valley College, he is working to transfer to SJSU and complete his Bachelor of Music in Jazz Studies.
Aside from being both the student and teacher, Thinh fills his time with lots of musical theater productions as a pit orchestra member. He’s had the pleasure to play for local organizations like SF Playhouse, City Lights and Children’s Musical Theater.
When Thinh isn’t trying to music, he goes on walks with his Husky – German Shepard, Nova. She seems to enjoy listening to Thinh’s playing, except when he plays the recorder.
