Musical Adventures using Bluey: First Ever Piano Book introduces children ages 3–6 to the joy of music through the Bluey piano method book, games, and interactive activities. Students build foundational piano skills including note reading, rhythm, technique, and musical expression while developing confidence and creativity.

This fun, low-pressure class is the perfect introduction to music education and helps prepare students for future private lessons—without the weekly homework and practice requirements of traditional piano lessons.

I-Chen Su

I chen Su - Piano, Violin & Viola Teacher

I-Chen Su is a native of Taiwan, and has been teaching at Melody Academy of Music since 2014. She received her BA in Music from Tainan National University of the Arts, MM in Viola Performance from Mannes School of Music, and MFA in Music Production and Sound Design for Visual Media from Academy of Art University. She has had more than 26 years of experience, including 16 years of teaching piano, violin, and viola in English and Mandarin. In addition to teaching, she has performed in various venues, including the Flint Center for Performing Arts, Shanghai Concert Hall, Lincoln Center, and Carnegie Hall.

Elizabeth Garcia

Elizabeth Garcia is a third-year Music Education major at San José State University, where she studies flute under Dr. Ray Furuta.

Before attending SJSU, Elizabeth participated in a wide range of ensembles on multiple instruments, including cello in String Orchestra, saxophone in Jazz Band, and principal flute in Concert Band. She was also a member of the San José State University Honors Wind Ensemble and the Stanislaus County Honor Band.

Elizabeth has long held a passion for music education. In high school, she helped establish the United Sound program, a peer-mentoring initiative that pairs students with and without disabilities in band and orchestra settings. Her dedication and musicianship earned her numerous honors, including the Patrick S. Gilmore Band Award, the Leonard Bernstein Musicianship Award, and the Semper Fidelis Award, granted by the United States Marines Youth Foundation. Her accomplishments have led her to perform at both Carnegie Hall in New York and in Hawaii.
