ENROLL NOW

DVM Voice Lab, led by instructor Anna Ahrens, is an exciting, educational choir designed to create an inclusive and accessible culture of singing. Focused on harmonization, improvisation, and lifelong vocal longevity, this program offers a fun and supportive environment for singers of all levels.

Through the Sing at First Sight series, you’ll improve group harmony and music-reading skills while exploring a wide range of musical styles—from pop and jazz to musical theater and classical. Whether you’re preparing to perform with a band, in a musical, as part of an a cappella “Glee” club, or in solo performances, DVM Voice Lab will equip you with the tools and confidence to shine on stage!

Community and Team Work: Just like sports teams teach us to work together, choirs are a team for singers! Singing together in groups is also proven to build stronger interpersonal connections between humans!

Individualized Coaching: Much like private lessons, we have more time to focus on the needs of the individuals in our group than public school classes can offer due to time and curriculum restraints

Building the Lifelong Singer: learning to sing harmony as part of a choral group allows for exponential opportunities to sing for the rest of a child’s life. More than 54 million people in the US participate in a choir, and due to the large number of choruses and choral singers in the US, this is the most accessible form of music performance for anyone’s lifetime!
