Our Approach to Guitar & Ukulele Lessons
We strive to ensure that all of our students acquire the fundamentals necessary to become literate musicians, so music reading/writing skills, in both tablature and standard notation as appropriate, and relevant music theory are often incorporated organically during lessons. For students learning guitar to accompany a singer or themselves, our instructors can also provide guidance with accompanying technique, breath control while playing, and elements of songwriting.
Successfully learning to play the guitar or ukulele is a challenging and rewarding experience. With the support of our highly-experienced guitar teachers, you can advance your musical skills and hone a sound that makes you feel the excitement at your fingertips. Whether you’re adding a hobby to your repertoire or you’re hoping to win a scholarship or competition, Dana V Music can provide you with exactly what you need.
