We are delighted to invite you into our studio! Bucktown Music was founded in 2008, with a goal of fostering a dynamic music community for students of all ages and backgrounds.
That dream is now collectively shared by our team of exceptional teachers and administrators. Each member of our dedicated staff knows firsthand how music can spark joy, improve cognitive skills, and promote self-expression; and we are continuously humbled when recognizing just how far our mission has come in changing the lives of so many families.

About Us
Bucktown Music is a music school located in Chicago, IL that provides lessons for students of all ages, from newborns through adults. Our goal is to help students develop musical skills, confidence, and a lasting appreciation for music in a supportive and encouraging environment.
Since opening in 2008, we have worked with thousands of students of all experience levels, from beginners discovering music for the first time to more advanced musicians looking to refine their technique and performance skills. What makes Bucktown Music different is simple: we offer musical options for everyone, aged 0 to 100.
Our lessons focus on building strong musical foundations while keeping learning engaging and enjoyable. Students can explore different instruments, develop their abilities at their own pace, and gain confidence through consistent practice and guidance from experienced instructors.
Whether someone is starting music for the first time, returning to an instrument, or preparing for performances, our teachers are dedicated to helping each student grow and succeed.

Serving Families in Chicago, IL
Bucktown Music proudly serves students from across Chicago and the surrounding area. Many of our students attend local schools including Pulaski International School, Pritzker Elementary School, Brentano Elementary School, and St. Mary of the Angels School.
Our location at 1890 N Milwaukee Ave makes it easy for families throughout the Bucktown, Wicker Park, and Logan Square neighborhoods to access high-quality music instruction close to home. Our programs are designed to fit busy family schedules, with classes and lessons available six days a week.
Whether you are looking for beginner lessons for a young child, a Kindermusik class for your infant or toddler, or advanced training for an adult, Bucktown Music welcomes students from across the Chicago area.
