About Emily Rae Fealy
Soprano Emily Rae Fealy, a Bay Area native, has been showcasing her vocal talent since the age of 5. Her foundational experience in music was built through participation in both youth and semi-professional choirs, where she honed her expertise in choral and liturgical styles.
In 2012, during her high school years, Emily Rae pursued higher education at Diablo Valley College, subsequently earning her Associate’s degree in Music. It was during this period at DVC that she discovered a profound passion for musical theater, art songs, and opera.
In 2019, Emily Rae furthered her training at the University of British Columbia’s Vocal Workshop. This experience provided her with invaluable interactions with seasoned professionals in the opera realm, thereby cementing her aspiration in Vocal Performance. The following year, in 2020, she advanced her studies at Sonoma State University, where she achieved her Bachelor’s of Music in Vocal Performance.
While at SSU, Emily Rae broadened her skill set by teaching voice for Tissimo, a globally recognized music instruction platform. This position not only refined her teaching techniques but also complemented her academic focus on Vocal Pedagogy, ultimately enriching her prowess as a performer.
Currently, Emily Rae is dedicating her efforts towards both teaching and elevating her presence in the world of Opera Performance.
