About Bee Myers
Bee Myers is a graduate of California State University, East Bay, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Music. She teaches guitar, ukulele, piano, bass, trombone, baritone, and basic voice, and works with students across a variety of musical genres, with a particular emphasis on jazz guitar.
With years of teaching experience, Bee is passionate about both educating and learning from her students. Music has been a central part of her life since she began playing guitar at the age of seven and studied through private lessons for eight years. Her passion for music continued to grow when she started playing trombone in elementary school, eventually performing in high school jazz and honor bands, experiences that deepened her love for the instrument.
Throughout her studies, Bee also developed a strong appreciation for piano and bass, enjoying the challenge of mastering the unique techniques and skills each instrument requires. She believes that while musicians should always strive to improve and reach their full potential, music should also be enjoyable, creative, and personally meaningful. Bee is committed to fostering a positive and supportive learning environment where students can work hard, build confidence, and explore the styles and genres that inspire them.
As a dedicated educator and lifelong musician, Bee is excited to help students discover their own passion for music and achieve their musical goals.
