Since 2006, Natomas School of Music has helped thousands of students begin and continue on their musical journey. We are the largest private school of music in Natomas, offering individual lessons in all popular instruments, as well as voice. What Makes Natomas School of Music Unique

We are the only full service music school in the Sacramento area that gives their students the opportunity to earn special color wristbands (kids and teens love them!), trophies, and certificates for passing musical tests. Do other schools offer trophies and certificates? A few. But none of them inspire their students with smiling faces by giving them full color, really cool “Musical Ladder” wristbands that they can show off to their friends.

Due to its central location on Duckhorn Drive in North Natomas, our school is convenient and draws students from Natomas, West Sacramento, Sacramento, North Highlands, Antelope, Folsom, and the Pocket area. We are easy to find, right off I-5, with shopping and restaurants close by.

  • What a great school. The owner (Glenn) told me that he originally started the school as something to do in retirement and it has grown from there. You can see his love for music in everything he does which is probably the explanation for the quick growth of the school. His teachers are all highly qualified and love their craft. They are flexible with scheduling, give individual attention, and I have been impressed with their professionalism. Whenever I go in to the school I am always greeted with a friendly smile. The school is welcoming and organized. If you are looking for a place to take lessons regardless of the age, look no further.

  • I’ve stepped in to get help tuning my new ukulele and the owner literally spent more than an hour giving me tips and advice on my new instrument. He was very quite helpful and I wasn’t even a student there. As people were walking by the office, he knew everyone’s name and the atmosphere was so inviting.   • The fact that my kids WANT to practice music speaks volumes for Natomas School of Music. They have been enrolled in guitar and piano for over 3 years -and have a great appreciation not just for their instrument but for different types of music genres. The teachers are technically savvy -incorporating not just modern music to continue to spur interest, but smart phones and the internet to provide the kids all the tools available to hear and experience sound and creativity. Our kids ask to perform whenever family come over and are able and excited to play in church and other venues.

    In addition, the school is very organized (prepared for holidays, school breaks, etc) and can teach at any skill level. Our family enjoys not just our kids performances but the entire recital that Mr. Glenn and team put on. Always a great show.

  • We LOVE NSM!! Very talented instructors and they offer musical instruction in so many areas from guitar, drums, piano, vocals, and more! My daughter first started 2 years ago with a guitar and was able to take what she learned to perform at an assisted living home and enjoyed the showcase performance with NSM as well. When her interest and passion shifted to voice Mr. Glenn matched her with an AMAZING voice coach and she has taken off!

    Tuition is very reasonable and they have lesson times that fit into our hectic schedule. The showcases are something we always look forward to, and I went from having a child with bad stage fright to taking the lead solo vocal in a children’s play and loving every minute! She has gained the confidence that comes from having experienced, ENCOURAGING instructors.

The Instructor customized the lessons to integrate music she likes from current bands. My daughter is flourishing and has even taught me a few things. Glenn is always present and available.
