Most qualified and diverse teaching faculty
Our instructors are caring, patient, talented, and know how to work with students to create a fun & engaging environment. All of our instructors are experts on their instruments and either hold, or are pursuing, degrees in music and all have had prior experience teaching music.
Where are you located?
Our music School is located in beautiful Downtown Santa Monica, just blocks from the 3rd Street Promenade and The Santa Monica Pier. 1445 6th Street, Ground Floor, Santa Monica, CA 90401.
What styles of music can you teach?
Our teachers come from a wide variety of different musical backgrounds. If you are an intermediate-advanced student that desires to learn a specific style, please let us know. We can direct you to the teacher best suited to your stylistic preferences. All teachers are qualified to teach a well-rounded curriculum of basic music to beginners.

Green Brooms Music Academy in Santa Monica offers fun, high-quality music lessons for kids, teens, and adults, piano, guitar, voice, drums, violin, ukulele, and more. We proudly serve nearby Brentwood, Mar Vista, and Venice with flexible scheduling, in-studio and online options, and performance opportunities. Book a lesson to get started.
What happens if I need to miss a lesson?
If you cancel at least 24 hours in advance, you’ll receive a make-up credit. Each student can use up to five make-up lessons per school year. Missed lessons without notice aren’t eligible.
How is tuition billed?
Tuition is charged automatically on the first of each month. The rate stays the same each month, regardless of how many lesson days fall in that month.
Is there a long-term contract?
No. After your first two months, lessons continue month-to-month, and you can cancel anytime with notice.
Do students get performance opportunities?
Yes! We host two recitals each year, one in the winter and one in the spring, so students can share what they’ve learned in a fun, supportive setting. We also offer rotating Open Mic Nights for anyone who wants extra stage time throughout the year.
Do you offer lesson options for adults?
Yes. Adult students can purchase flexible lesson packs in sets of four, allowing you to schedule lessons around work, travel, or changing availability.
