Our Staff
Why choose us
Get Started1) A Highly Accredited Staff of Professional Musicians
A Highly Accredited Staff of Professional Musicians Our team of teachers is highly experienced in music instruction from beginning level to advanced, and many of them are also professional musicians in the Denver area! This means that our students will gain real-world knowledge from their teachers. Whether music is a short-term passion or a long-term career choice, our teachers can help you develop the skills and knowledge you need to engage with music at any level.
2) Month-To-Month Lessons
Neighborhood Music offers recurring lessons with month-to-month tuition, which means our students typically have the same teacher and weekly time. This also means that there’s no required long-term commitment — you can do lessons for a few months to prepare for an audition, or you can stick with the same time and teacher for as long as it works for your schedule!
3) Multiple Performance Opportunities Year-Round
We offer several performance opportunities throughout the year, including large-scale spring and fall recitals at Eisenhower Chapel and more casual student showcases once a month at our own studio. We also host monthly community music events including a folk singaround and a monthly beginner jazz jam at Neighborhood Music, where students and community members are invited to jam with our house band — all made up of Neighborhood Music instructors!
4) Group Programming To Further Your Student’s Music Education
Neighborhood Music offers a variety of group programming, and we’re always adding more! Different programs that we’ve offered include group ukulele, songwriting courses, student rock and jazz ensembles, and more! Please reach out to our admin team for a current listing of group programming.
5) Clear Communication From Your Admin Team
Our administration team will always reach out ahead of time if there’s any change to your student’s schedule. We reach out via email and text to make sure you have the latest studio updates, as well as upcoming programming, discounts and deals, and more! We also send out our studio calendar at the beginning of every year, so that parents know all of our studio closures, recital dates, and makeup days ahead of time.
6) Flexible Cancellation Policy
Need to cancel a lesson? No problem! As long as you give our studio 24 hours notice, we can issue a makeup lesson back to your account for you to reschedule on another day. Plus, our makeup lessons are good for an entire year from the date of the original lesson, and can be used for any instrument and teacher, for anyone in your family!
