Piano
The piano is both approachable for young beginners and richly complex for advanced players, and is perfect for learning to read music and building a strong musical foundation.
Guitar & Ukulele
One of the foundational instruments of contemporary music, our guitar instructors teach across genres and will equip you to play for yourself or as part of a group.
Voice

Violin & Viola

Drums & Percussion
The drum kit is an energetic instrument that cultivates precise rhythm and strong music fundamentals. Learn to create fun and complex beats while developing healthy technique.
Bass
The low pitch of the bass guitar holds down the groove in almost all styles of music. Learn to play different styles and techniques.
Cello
Cello lessons will help you to develop strong fundamentals and play without tension to create a clear and beautiful sound on this soulful instrument.
Woodwind
Develop a beautiful sound on the saxophone, clarinet, oboe or flute. Study the musical style of your choosing with our highly qualified woodwind instructors.
Brass
Learn how to play the trumpet, cornet, tuba, trombone and more. Private brass lessons are a great supplement to school music programs. Study your favorite genre with your teacher.

Music Explorers Pre-K Group Class
Designed just for our littlest learners with classes running nationwide, Music Explorers is a joyful, play-based introduction to music for ages 3–5. Through singing, movement, rhythm games, and hands-on activities, children build early musical foundations in a fun, nurturing environment. It’s the perfect first step in their musical adventure!
Ample Performance Opportunities
Students at MECA have lots of exciting ways to share their music! We host formal recitals twice a year, multiple MECA Sound Socials—our fun, open-mic-style performances—and our MECA Amplified rock band program gives students the chance to rehearse and perform at local venues. From relaxed in-house showcases to full-stage performances, there’s a spotlight for everyone!
