Piano

Drums & Percussion
The drum kit is an energetic instrument that cultivates precise rhythm and strong music fundamentals. Learn to create fun and complex beats while developing healthy technique.
Bass
The low pitch of the bass guitar holds down the groove in almost all styles of music. Learn to play different styles and techniques.
Cello
Cello lessons will help you to develop strong fundamentals and play without tension to create a clear and beautiful sound on this soulful instrument.
Woodwind
Develop a beautiful sound on the saxophone, clarinet, oboe or flute. Study the musical style of your choosing with our highly qualified woodwind instructors.
Brass
Learn how to play the trumpet, cornet, tuba, trombone and more. Private brass lessons are a great supplement to school music programs. Study your favorite genre with your teacher.

With our youngest students being 4, and others over 70, we love making music with students of all ages and experience. No matter if you’re young or young at heart, just starting out or continuing your education, everyone is welcome!
Private Lessons
Private lessons ensure that the student has the undivided attention of their instructor. This setting is great for identifying an individualized curriculum specific to the student. We offer private lessons for piano, voice, guitar, bass, drums, brass, woodwinds, and string instruments.
Experienced, Qualified Music Teachers
With five different levels of teachers to choose from, it’s easy to find the right teacher for you. Our high school teachers are always a great choice for those just starting out, while our Master teachers can accommodate all skill levels. No matter, your interest, we can align you or your child up with a teacher that fits!
Preschool Piano Classes
Music Education Center offers special youth classes for musicians ages 4 -6 years old. From the very beginning, with Kids Play Piano, there’s no better place to start exploring your child’s musical adventure. These 15 minute “private” lessons provide a general music background and hands on instruction in a FUN environment.
Recitals
Recitals are a fun way to provide students with the opportunity to showcase their skills on stage for family and friends. Music Education Center offers student recital opportunities at least once a year.
Month to Month Lesson Structure
No long term quarterly or annual commitments. Students are only committed to a month at time.

Music Education Center is conveniently located and draws students from South Elgin, Elgin, Gilberts, Saint Charles, Hampshire, Aurora and more. We are located on Randall Road, about ten minutes from the Elgin Bypass (US 20).
