Music Explorers fosters children’s social and emotional growth through whimsical song and playful exploration

Music Explorers is a unique Early Childhood Music program that focuses on the whole child, laying the foundations not only musically, but mentally, emotionally, and physically. Based on the National Standards for Music Education, Music Explorers provides students with an opportunity to develop beginning music skills all while encouraging a child’s confidence and self-expression.

All music instruction begins with basic musical preparation. The Kids Love Music curriculum teaches developmentally-appropriate material to children aged 3.5-5. And it is FUN! We will sing, dance and play classroom instruments within the child’s comfortable world of colors, shapes and pre-reading symbols.

Children meet each week for a 45-minute class, and classes range from 5-10 in size.  Little ones are encouraged to attend class all by themselves, but parents are always welcome to watch.

Musical concepts such as steady beat, tone matching, listening skills, coordination, musical vocabulary, singing and playing classroom instruments are all taught by a music education professional.

Schedule:

Unit 1: Saturday, October 19th – 9:15 AM to 10:00 AM
Unit 1: Saturday, January 18th – 11:15 AM to 12:00 PM
