About Christian Winter
Christian Winter is a musician from Southbury Connecticut, with a focus on piano, guitar, and voice. They have been making music for 10+ years, and in the process have amassed a collection of folk instruments ranging from ukulele to mandolin to banjo to kalimba to ocarina and more. Their style of focus on guitar is acoustic fingerpicking styles (particularly favoring musicians like Don McLean and Hozier), but with extensive experience in both acoustic and electric styles. Their higher education in music was based on the piano, learning a wide range of styles but favoring late-romantic and impressionistic eras. In voice their background is largely in musical theatre, and they have additionally been a part of local and regional choirs across Connecticut and in Pennsylvania. When not teaching lessons, Christian loves to spend their time making theatre, and has been music directing shows with Landmark Community Theatre for the past three years.
