About Tammy Ramalho
Tammy was born and raised in London, Kentucky, there she started studying piano at the age of 8 and took lessons throughout high school. Tammy transitioned to playing the clarinet in Middle School. Much of Tammy’s middle school and high school experience involves marching band competitions. In high school, Tammy received the John Phillips Sousa National Band and the Semper Fidelis Music and Leadership Excellence awards.
She is a graduate of Cumberland College where she majored in music performance with certifications in clarinet, vocals, and piano. She minored in elementary education. For over 23 years, Tammy been teaching private applied music lessons. She holds a MusikGarten certification and has used that to teach children of all age’s basic music appreciation and concepts.
Prior to moving to Texas, Tammy was involved in the London, KY community orchestra and volunteered for many years to play the piano for local weddings and church groups. With her background in childhood education and music, Tammy has many years working with kids with disabilities.
