About Ryan Hofstra
Ryan studied contemporary and classical vocal performance, contemporary guitar performance, and music business in college. He earned a B.A. in Music Business with a minor in Vocal Performance from McNally Smith College of Music, as well as an A.A.S. in Vocal and Guitar Performance from Lake Michigan College. It was when he was in college that he discovered his passion for teaching music lessons and mentoring incoming music students.
He has an appreciation for all music and teaches many different styles including: rock, classical, punk, metal, country and pop. Ryan also has extensive performance experience from performing his original music in bands, being in cover and tribute bands, and choirs. Ryan engages the students in learning while having fun.
