About Julia H.
Julia graduated from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor with a Bachelor’s degree in Vocal Performance. Throughout her college career, Julia was an active member of the university’s theatre program where she developed a deep love and appreciation for opera, musical theatre and dance. Alongside her work as a performer and educator, Julia dedicated time to learning the role of Stage Manager. Through this experience, she found a new passion in directing and managing a variety of shows. Julia’s experience thus far continues to motivate her plans to further her education through a Masters and Doctorate program.
As an educator, Julia provides a nurturing environment for her students to grow while sharing her passion for voice and piano. Julia strives to lead by example and embraces every students’ individuality as musicians in order to achieve lasting success through their instrument. In her teaching, Julia structures her lessons by prioritizing her students’ unique needs and interests while combining classic fundamentals and techniques to provide a blended learning experience.
