Tuition Information
All K-12 private students pay an annual activities/recital fee every August. The activities/recital fees is $60 per year per student, or $90 per year per family (2 or more students in a family enrolled). The activities/recital fee is required regardless of if the student participates in events or not. Group class students and adult students do not pay the activities/recital fee.
Can I begin lessons anytime?
Yes! Students who start late in the semester will have a prorated tuition.
How do I pay for tuition?
We accept credit cards, paypal, cash and check. You may pay tuition by recurring credit card payment, pay via our online invoices, or leave a check or cash payment at Velocity Music Academy in the “tuition” box.
When is tuition due?
Tuition is the same every month, regardless of the number of lessons per month. There are 48 lessons per year (47 private lessons + 1 performance party), so tuition is divided equally over 12 months. Tuition is due the 1st of the month and considered late after the 10th of the month. A $25 late fee will be added to invoices not paid by the 10th of the month.

Tuition is year round. Each student will receive 48 lessons over the year (47 private lessons + 1 performance party). There are several recitals + monthly additional Performance Lessons and activities included in your tuition. During the summer, in addition to our private lessons, we also offer summer camps.
Are there any other fees?
There are optional fees for students wanting to enter local festivals and competitions
How do I purchase music books?
For your convenience, Velocity Music Academy sells books, sheet music, and CDs to students. Parents may purchase these materials from Velocity Music Academy.
