About Prodigy Dance Company Auditions
at VPD

We’re excited to invite dedicated, passionate dancers to audition for Prodigy Dance Company, VPD’s competitive team! Prodigy is designed for dancers who are ready to take their training to the next level through performance, discipline, and teamwork.
Auditions will consist of a warm-up, across the floor progressions, and choreography in multiple styles (such as jazz, contemporary, and Ballet). Dancers will be evaluated on technique, performance quality, work ethic, and ability to pick up choreography.

Company members are expected to commit to weekly rehearsals, competitions, team events, and required summer training, including our intensive and class requirements. Prodigy dancers represent VPD both in and out of the studio and are expected to demonstrate strong leadership, positive attitude, and dedication.
Whether your dancer is looking to grow technically, build confidence, or be part of a supportive and driven team, Prodigy offers an inspiring and rewarding experience.
