About Ryan Dardugno

Ryan Dardugno is a music teacher who has over 10 years of experience playing the piano. He started playing the piano at the young age of 6. When first learning the instrument, Ryan played mostly genres such as pop and rock.

However, as the years went on, he transitioned into classical music. Having a background in all three of these genres helps him relate to students with different goals and differing interests. He has performed and will continue to perform in multiple recitals located in Wheaton. He has been put into master “workshops” in order to enhance his playing and performing abilities.

Ryan has participated in many volunteer opportunities at his parish, St. Stephens. During these volunteering hours, he was assigned to aid the church staff with multiple activities for the children to do each week. Partaking in these parish activities showed Ryan that teaching is not just about telling your students what to do and what not to do, but to form a bond with each child. Getting to know each student individually will help them learn and grow as a pianist in a more effective way.
