About Mirela Luarasi

Albanian-born and raised pianist Mirela L. has performed as recitalist, chamber musician, collaborative pianist, and taught piano professionally for over 20 years throughout Europe and the United States. Mrs. L. holds her graduate degrees in piano performance from the Academy of Fine Arts in Tirana Albania, where she served as external assistant professor of piano. Mrs. L. also holds the Illinois Certificate of Teaching Assistant.

Hard work and accepting challenges are the assets, which she readily offer, whether individually or as team member. Mrs. L. is willing to commit herself to help the piano students in our school, to build an outstanding performance piano class and to obtain the goals in the education of today and tomorrow. Comfortable in both public and private class settings she has instructed children and adults in such institution National School of Arts in Tirana (Albania), and giving private lessons to students of various ages. Mrs. L. has performed as concert master with classes of flute, violin, cello, vocal performance and has participated in in all Competitions International and National for the new pianist including Val Tidone Piacenza and Barleta, Italy, Balkan States in Oher, Macedonia and Klagenfurt in Austria. Mrs. L. is a member of EPTA (European Piano Teacher Association), member of Piano Association “Frederick Chopin”, and has been member of the Jury for preparation of National Teaching Program of piano professional classes. Mrs. L. is currently piano private teacher at The Music Connection School, and Chicago Suburban’s area as well.
