About Jeff Mattsey
Jeff is an acclaimed baritone with more than three decades of international performance experience. He made his operatic debut as Marcello in La Bohème opposite Luciano Pavarotti and has since performed in over 185 productions at the Metropolitan Opera, including seven Live in HD broadcasts. His career highlights include world premieres, a Grammy-nominated recording, and appearances with major opera houses worldwide. In addition to performing, Jeff has taught at the Longy School of Music in Cambridge, MA, maintained a private voice studio for nearly 30 years, and currently directs Perform Opera in Italy, where he mentors emerging singers. He is dedicated to helping students develop strong technique, artistry, and confidence.
