
About Brenda Kenyon
Brenda Kenyon is a native Pennsylvanian from Waterford, near Erie. She received a Bachelor’s in Music Education from the University of Pennsylvania at Mansfield and a Master’s in music education from Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio. Brenda is a retired music teacher with 30 plus years’ experience in teaching music to children of all ages. General music, choirs, and piano were the classes she taught in public schools in New York, Ohio, Michigan, California, and Illinois. In addition to teaching piano lessons and Music in the Box classes at the Music Connection, Brenda is the organist and choir director at Crete United Methodist Church. For fun Brenda is a member of the singing group Lux Cantorum in Chicago, an ensemble dedicated to performing sacred choral music in the greater Chicago area.
