About Amanda (Mandy) Miklos
Amanda (Mandy) Miklos teaches voice. She has over eight years of classical voice training and has taught general music
courses, choirs and private lessons. Mandy teaches both classical and contemporary music. Mandy earned her Bachelor’s degree in Vocal Performance at Belmont University, where she performed the roles of Maguelonne in Viardot’s Cendrillion, and Gigi from Franz Lehár’s The Merry Widow.
Mandy is active in the Chicagoland performance community and has worked with Opera Aeterna, Chicago Summer Opera, and Opera Festival of Chicago. Most recently, she performed the roles of Musetta (La Bohème), First Lady (Die Zauberflöte) and Marcellina (Le Nozze di Figaro). Her classical training enables her to sing healthily and without tension across
a variety of styles, and she strives to help her students achieve the same.
