TMR Academy: Solfege & Ear-training Boot Camp: FA-SO-DO

Solfege, ear-training and sight singing are essential to every musician. Beef up your inner ear and musical chops with this challenging and fun class. Requires 1st-2nd year of music theory to participate. Students are encouraged to actively participate during class by identifying and demonstrating the intervals learned.

Class is centered on identification and dictation of intervals and introduction to major & minor pentascale construction. Fa-Sol-Do will focus on Perfect unison, 4ths, 5ths octaves, Major/minor triad identification and beginning sight singing do-sol. Each student will be given a handout about the material worked on in class to continue at home!
