About Zarui (Zara) Vardanean
Zarui (Zara) Vardanean, an Honored Artist of the Republic of Moldova, has won numerous national and international vocal competitions. She holds her MFA in Music, specializing in voice, opera, and choir conducting, from the Academy of Music in Chișinău, Moldova, and her MA in Performing Arts Administration from Roosevelt University in Chicago.
Zara’s musical journey spans European stages to Chicago’s classrooms, showcasing her unwavering passion and dedication to her art. She views herself as more than just a teacher; she serves as a mentor and guide, accompanying her students on their musical paths. Her students often excel in their school band, orchestra, choir, and musical theatre programs, achieve impressive results in solo competitions, and enjoy a rewarding and enjoyable learning experience as they commit to their craft.
