About Dave Daugerdas
A multi-instrumentalist, Dave entered Northern Illinois University in 1980 as an electric bass major, eventually graduating with a business degree. He continued to gig and perform by night and on weekends while working as an IT professional by day. He’s studied music theory, orchestration and conducting and has been both a bandleader and sideman for multiple groups on electric bass. He teaches bass, guitar, trombone and clarinet and plays bagpipes with the Chicago Highlanders. He’s performed on a variety of stages including Fox television, cruise ships, churches, schools, prisons, parades and village festivals. He also served as a Music and Bugling merit badge counselor for Scouts BSA (formerly Boy Scouts of America).
