About Dave Daugerdas

Dave Daugerdas has been a bass player since 1977. A multi-instrumentalist, he entered Northern Illinois University as an electric bass major, eventually graduating with a business degree. He continued to gig and perform by night and on weekends while working as an IT professional by day. He has studied music theory, orchestration and conducting and has been both a bandleader and sideman for multiple groups on electric bass. Dave has performed on a variety of stages including Fox television, cruise ships, churches, schools, prisons, parades and village festivals.

He is well versed in such styles as rock, pop, jazz, worship, musical theatre, country, reggae, motown and more, and his influences include Jaco Pastorius, Tony Levin, Tower of Power, The Police, The Beatles, Rush, XTC, and many others.

Dave is also a proud member of the Chicago Highlanders Pipes & Drums in Palatine, where he plays yet another instrument: the bagpipes!
