Rent Brass Instruments

Learning to play the trumpet, trombone, french horn or baritone may be challenging, but with commitment and discipline, it is a rewarding pursuit. Which is your favorite? Rental instruments give you an easy option to explore. With a rent-to-buy contract, you build equity fast but can return or upgrade the instrument at any time during the contract period.

  • Pickup & Payment Info

    Payment Information Reservations are not complete until payment has been received. We will contact you to set up a payment method; thereafter, rental payments will be settled automatically via credit card on a regular, monthly basis. These monthly payments are initiated on your Requested Pickup Date above, which becomes your billing cycle date. (A requested pickup date of the 14th, for example, results in a charge on that date as well as a charge on the 14th of every calendar month that follows while the rental is active.)

    Every Payment Builds Equity Our program is an equity building program: each rental payment (excluding the maintenance and repair fee) goes toward the purchase of your instrument. For stringed instruments, your accumulated equity is applied through each size increase toward the purchase of a full size student instrument. There is no obligation to buy, however, and the instrument may be returned at any time.

    When Will My Instrument Be Ready? “Requested Pickup Date” field above and we will do our best to accommodate you. Please note that we are closed on Sundays and that we require at least 2 business days from the time you submit this Instrument Rental Form to process your submission and ready your rental instrument for pickup.

Trumpet Rental

It can take some time for the embouchure (teeth, lips, facial muscles) to develop. Renting a Bb trumpet is a good choice for beginning players. The trumpet is used in almost every style of music from jazz to rock and classical. Visit our store to try out a trumpet to make sure you like the feel of it. With a rent-to-buy contract you can return your instrument at any time, without obligation.

French Horn Rental

The quality and condition of your student’s French horn is important. For beginners, some music background and the ability to match pitches is helpful. We recommend a single French horn for beginning players.

Baritone Horn Rental

A baritone is great instrument that is fairly easy to learn. Widely used in concert bands, marching bands, brass choirs, and other ensembles, it works like a trumpet but is twice as long. The Music Room offers both a ¾ and full size baritone. If you have questions about what is the right instrument for your child, please give us a call or stop by the store.

 Trombone Rental

A high quality trombone will keep your child motivated to play.  Like other brass instruments, sound is produced by buzzing the lips into a mouthpiece. But while other brass instruments change pitch by pressing valves to change the length of the airflow, the trombone player simply moves the slide in and out to the change the length of flow.
