Recorder Fun

Learning to play the recorder is fun! It is a great stepping stone for children who are thinking of playing a woodwind instrument. Small, light weight and inexpensive, recorders (along with ukuleles) have been great choices for “first instrument” studies. Even students who are experienced players in other instruments enjoy playing the recorder.

This class will have young recorder players playing songs immediately. Included is a handout with fingering chart, basics of note-reading, and 3-5 basic written melodies. Play together as a group and get a chance to solo as well! All ages and levels welcome. Bring your own recorder or purchase one for only $4.95!
