About Kaison
Kaison, a native of Lafayette, Louisiana, began his musical journey at the age of 14 when he first studied piano before expanding to guitar, voice, and songwriting. He trained at a local music academy and also studied under Garth Alper, Jazz Piano Professor at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Since 2020, he has been a pianist and guitarist at Our Saviour’s Church, where he also led the youth worship team. In his spare time, he continues to perform, write original music, and is an active member of the startup band Two Weeks.
As a teacher, Kaison focuses on making music both fun and rewarding. His lessons combine strong foundations— including technique, music theory, and ear training—with creativity and personal expression. Whether a student wants to play their favorite songs, prepare for performances, or explore writing their own music, Kaison works to keep learning engaging while building skills that last a lifetime.
