About Amyl
Amyl is a classically trained pianist who has studied piano since the age of 5 under the instruction of Mrs. Mila Olivier. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Piano Performance from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette under the instruction of Dr. Susanna Garcia. Amyl has participated in piano competitions, federations, and rallies from the age of 8. She enjoys performing in churches, local events, and on University stages. Amyl appreciates the opportunities to play in collaborative instrument performance.
She has performed with UL’s Women’s Choir, UL’s Symphony and Orchestra, and has played live piano accompaniment for ballet classes at the University of Louisiana . She has also had the experience of performing for special international guests for masterclasses hosted by UL’s School of Music.
Amyl’s goal in teaching is to develop the love she has for piano in the students she teaches.
