🎵Requirements

• Ages 10-18
• Limited space available by instrument
• Any students new to the program or to TLC must participate in an audition/assessment with one of our coaches prior to official placement

🎵Program Cost and Payment Options

• $460 (in full, before May 1st)
• $495 (in full, after May 1st)
• 3 installments of $195 (first at enrollment, second on 6/1, third on 7/1)

🎵First Band Meeting: Week of 6/23 (exact dates to come)

• Meet your bandmates, song selection, set practice goals for weeks leading up to camp
• Create a group chat amongst students (with parent/guardian permission) to communicate about songs and progress leading up to camp

🎵 Live Band Rehearsals: 7/28—7/31 & 8/4—8/7, 9:00am—2:00pm

• Drop off is from 9:00am—9:30am each day, doors open at 9:00am
• Morning band meeting at 9:30am each day to review game plan
• Morning rehearsal begins at 10:00am
• Lunch is from 11:30am—12:30pm (please bring bag lunch, contact us if your student has any allergies)
• Afternoon rehearsal from 12:30pm—2:00pm
• Camp concludes at 2:00pm, staff onsite until 2:15pm

🎵 Guidelines During Camp:

• Students must stay within the camp setting/rehearsal space and may not leave the building under any circumstances unless accompanied by a parent or guardian
• Students must be respectful of their bandmates and teachers at all times
• Students are expected to bring their instrument (guitar, bass, strings, brass, woodwind), any necessary accessories (tuners, picks, effects, drumsticks), a notebook, folder, and pen

🎵 Dress Rehearsal: 8/9, 10:00am—2:00pm

• Location TBD
• Run through all sets in performance order (we encourage students to support, watch their fellow students perform, and provide positive feedback)
• Pizza and drinks provided, or bring bagged lunch

🎵 Musikfest/Day of Show: 8/10, 12:00pm—3:00pm

• Plaza Tropical stage on the North Side of the Festival (maps available at https://www.musikfest.org)
• Can drop students off near the tent and find parking from there (https://www.musikfest.org/info/directions-parking/)
• Students should arrive no later than 11:30am with everything they need to perform (instrument, sheet music when applicable, tuners, picks, guitar cables, drum sticks, any special pedals/effects)
• Students should remain backstage or in the audience (after their performance) for the duration of the show to support their peers
• Students will be brought on stage at the end of the show for a final bow/group photo
• Please be aware that it is possible that storms (lightning) may occur and that Musikfest could potentially halt a show for the safety of performers and patrons, if this happens, our team will work to edit the band’s set list/timing which may result in some songs being cut, this is the nature of an outdoor concert and is beyond our control. We will do our best to give each band the best experience possible!
