
About Michelle
Michelle is a recent Master of Music graduate in Voice Performance from the Bob Cole Conservatory of Music at California State University, Long Beach. With a diverse performance background spanning South Korea and the United States, Michelle has experience in show choir, choral ensembles, gospel, musical theatre, opera, and K-pop.
Growing up in South Korea, she was deeply influenced by K-pop and continues to enjoy singing the genre. She is a Broadcast Music, Inc. (BMI) registered vocalist and lyricist, having collaborated on three K-pop albums with Hollywood-based producers and sound engineers. While her academic focus has been on classical music, Michelle also has a passion for Jazz, R&B, and Pop and enjoys writing her own music.
Michelle is deeply passionate about teaching and believes in music’s power to uplift and inspire.
She strives to create a fun, supportive environment where students can develop confidence and strong vocal technique. Her approach blends enjoyment with structure, helping students discover and nurture their unique talents. More than just teaching, she hopes to instill a lifelong love for music in every student she works with.
