About Michaela
“I’m dedicated to fostering a supportive learning environment and teaching healthy, effective, and stylistically accurate techniques that will help each student sing the music they love.”
Michaela is a singer, songwriter, and producer originally from Meriden, Connecticut. She spent much of her time growing up performing in musicals, playing the flute and piano, and singing Kelly Clarkson songs in her mom’s car after school. She worked with several voice teachers throughout the years and went on to receive her BA in Theater Arts from Boston College. During her time there, she began writing her own music and subsequently learned to produce using Ableton Live. In the fall of 2021, she relocated to Los Angeles, and in May 2022 she released her single “Side By Side” under the artist name Michaela Ari. Michaela is incredibly excited to teach at The Inside Voice and feels so fortunate to join a team that prioritizes the unique goals and experience of each student over one specific, impersonalized curriculum.
