About Celia

Celia is a classically trained vocalist and musical theatre performer from Indio, CA. She graduated with her BA in Music with an Emphasis in Vocal Performance from Regis University in Denver. Her experience includes choral ensembles, solo classical performance, straight plays, and musical theatre. She was the first place at the Hi-Desert Cultural Center Vocal Competition and a finalist in the NATS Musical Theatre Vocal Competition. She was also a therapeutic music intern, singing for patients in the cardiac and cancer treatment area. She believes music is the ultimate selfless gift because it requires vulnerability, honesty, and empathy. Celia wants students to have a safe space to feel creative and express themselves, and then go forth into the world as their most authentic selves and use music to make it a better place.
