About Emma Urbanski
Classically trained since age six, Emma has had a passion for music for as long as she can remember. She has over seven years of on-stage performance experience. Emma is currently studying classical vocal performance at Hillsborough Community College under Stephanie Sager and jazz vocals with Valerie Gillespie. Alongside her “sultry and intimate” vocal stylings, Emma has been playing the upright and electric bass for eight years.
Having had a dream to become a teacher since childhood, Emma showcases her love for all things music through her teaching style. She focuses on each person’s unique abilities and works to ensure that confidence is key.
Before joining the Tampa Music School team, Emma worked at Durant High School as the bass instructor and Buckhorn Elementary as an after-school counselor. To Emma, teaching is just as exciting as performing. Watching the next wave of artists hone their skills is her dream come true.
