About Andrea Alderman
With over 17 years of stage experience and two decades of teaching experience, Andrea Alderman is a seasoned singer, actress, and educator. Holding a master’s degree in Vocal Performance and an advanced certificate in Vocal Pedagogy from New York University, along with a bachelor’s in Music Education from Southeastern University, Andrea brings a rich tapestry of fun knowledge to her classroom by allowing her versatile performances in opera, classical art song, contemporary, jazz, and gospel to inform her dynamic and engaging teaching methods, tailored to suit the needs of her diverse students.
Andrea is dedicated to nurturing the musical skills of her piano and voice students. She is intentional about cultivating a joy-filled and safe environment where being authentic and learning from one’s mistakes is encouraged and where practicing can be exciting and fun. Her goal is to provide her students with the right tools and knowledge they need to leave the classroom feeling inspired and prepared for their musical journeys, no matter their skill level or goals.
