About John Heaphy
John, along with his wife Geri and daughter Grace, are the founders of Grace Music School located on Long Island, NY. In 2022 the schools were sold to Ensemble Performing Arts, a year after the family moved to Charleston, SC.
After the sale of the schools, John was retained to by Ensemble Performing Arts to manage facility related projects. In September 2025, John partnered with Ensemble Performing Arts to open a third Grace Music School location in Mount Pleasant, just outside of Charleston, SC.
John previously worked in private industry in various technical and managerial roles. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Maritime College and a Master of Science degree from New York Institute of Technology.
