About Brian Wilson
Brian serves as Vice President of Sales for National Educational Music Company, where he leads national sales strategy and execution in support of schools, educators, and students.
Brian started on the piano before finding his instrument on the clarinet. He played throughout school in concert band, marching band, jazz band, and just about every ensemble he could join. Although he considered a career in music performance and education, he realized he could make an even bigger impact by helping schools and music programs from the business side.
His career began at the same music store where he had taken private lessons as a student. Starting on the sales floor, he learned nearly every part of the business before moving into leadership roles focused on serving schools and music educators. More than 20 years later, he still enjoys what he does most—building strong partnerships and helping music programs succeed.
Outside of work, Brian enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, reading, cooking, watching football, tackling home improvement projects, and exploring movies, arts, and culture. Music remains a big part of family life, and he especially enjoys watching his daughter continue the family tradition as a young clarinetist.
