About Veda Bergwall
Hi! My name is Veda Bergwall, and I am a professional flutist. I hold a master’s degree in concert performance and music education from the Saint-Petersburg State Conservatory. I am a laureate of multiple international competitions:
- Master prize and best Bach performance special award, Bach international music competition, London, November 2024
- Grand Prix in the category “Contemporary music” and special prize for excellent technique, “UK International Music competition” London, February 2023
- 1st place, “Kingdom art stars” competition, London, February 2021.
I have performed solo, in ensembles and in orchestras for the last 7 years. I have given private lessons to students of all ages and skill levels for the past 5 years. I also have a bachelor’s degree in psychology, which gives me unique insight specifically into teaching strategies. I am ready to teach people of all ages and skill levels. Whether you are playing your first notes, learning the flute part for middle school or high school band, preparing for a competition or for an audition for a music college, or picking up the instrument after many years – I am happy to help share my knowledge and love for the flute with you! I can also help learn how to read flute music and teach basic music theory and music history relevant to the music we are learning.
