About Ryan Dailey

Ryan Dailey is a trombonist and music educator based in the western Chicago suburbs. He graduated from Wheaton College with a Bachelor of Music Education. In 2018, Mr. Dailey was a finalist for the Wheaton College Concerto Competition, performing the Tomasi Trombone Concerto as a soloist with the school’s Symphony Orchestra. He was also a member of the winning Wheaton College Chamber Competition group in 2017.

Upon graduating, Mr. Dailey was a regular performing member of the Rockford Wind Ensemble for three years. During that same time, he performed with the Joel Baer Big Band, a professional jazz band that plays in the northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin area. When not teaching, Mr. Dailey enjoys exercising, playing basketball, and spending time with his musician wife, Morgan.

Mr. Dailey’s musical interests and experience include concert band, orchestra, jazz and funk music. Whatever students want to pursue musically, Mr. Dailey will help them to learn it and enjoy the gift of music.
