Jose is based out of the Greater Chicagoland area where he received his Bachelors in Saxophone Performance from Elmhurst College and enjoys freelancing as a private instructor, music director, and performer.
While a part of the Elmhurst College Jazz Band under the direction of Doug Beach Jose had the honor to tour the European jazz festival circuit through Italy, France, Switzerland playing saxophone, flute, and clarinet. The ensemble has also performed with artists Dee Dee Bridgewater, Donny Mccaslin, and a tour with the legendary Doc Severinsen.
Jose recognizes the necessity of accommodating private lessons to each student in order to inspire the greatest growth. It brings him great joy to watch his students succeed.
