Our Approach to Brass Lessons
We’ve trained many successful musicians in a number of different disciplines by adhering to a very strategic approach. Above all, we strive to facilitate a fun and enjoyable environment for learning. We create this by developing sound technique and then tailoring the remainder of your music education to your personal preferences and goals.
Brass instruments have such a unique sound that many students come to Schaumburg Music Academy specifically to master the trombone, trumpet, or euphonium. Not only does learning to play an instrument challenge your mind, but there are key physical benefits to playing a brass instrument as well. Our brass instructors are dedicated to helping you achieve your musical goals, whether you are preparing for a school band audition or competing for a prestigious award.
Brass Lessons Should Be Fun!
From classical orchestras to high school marching bands, the brass section plays a leading role in producing dynamic and impactful performances. At Schaumburg Music Academy, we teach a variety of brass instruments – including trumpet, tuba, french horn, and trombone – each of which plays a critical role in bringing to life the music we know and love.
Regardless of your specific instrument, one thing is consistent across all of our brass offerings: fun! Simply put, we want all of our students to LOVE their music lessons. Schaumburg Music Academy’s experienced staff blends a high standard of music education with a creative, student-focused approach that gives students space to discover and nurture their passion for music – while having fun along the way.

“My 9-year old son and I both take lessons at Schaumburg Academy of Music. As an adult learner with no musical background I was nervous about how difficult it would be to learn an instrument, but our instructor Nadiya has made the experience easier than I was anticipating. She is very patient with both me and my son and is very knowledgeable about everything she has taught us to this point.”
